Week 4 Reflection and Activity

During the 4th week of the class, we had an online zoom meeting instead as our lecturer was not able to arrive back at campus in time. During the online class conducted, I was taught on how to do panning and how to show envelope and use it either on the clip or the track itself. We were taught that doing panning and using envelopes is better to be done on track as it is easy to use the keyframe to change them.

I was assigned to create sound scenario based on the given pictures. This is also one of the method to be used for the first assignment we are going to do soon.

Figure 4.1: Environment 1

Figure 4.2: Sounds used for Environment 1

All of the audio source came from freesound.org. The sound consist of vent fan sound, walking sound, which is panned to the left, the container water sound with layering, and computer sounds on the left and right side of the picture.

Figure 4.4: Sounds used for Environment 2

Again most sounds are from freesound.org, however The main laser sound is recorded from a game I played. The Multitrack consist of walking, writing both panned on the left, laser being inputted and charged, vent sounds for atmospheric sounds and the main laser blasting sound.

Both environment sound can be found inside the soundcloud link below:
